I can't log in. What should I do?

First, make sure you're using the exact email and password you signed up with. Try resetting your password via the "Forgot password?" link on the sign-in screen. If that doesn't work, email us at support@appsyntax.dev and we'll manually reset your account.

The camera isn't working. How do I fix it?

CarEnthu needs camera access to photograph cars. Go to iOS Settings → CarEnthu → and toggle Camera access on. If the issue persists, try deleting and reinstalling the app. Your collection is stored in the cloud so nothing will be lost.

My sight didn't save. What happened?

CarEnthu supports offline capture — if you're in an area with bad signal, your sight will be saved locally and synced when you're back online. Open the app with a connection and the sight should appear in your collection automatically.

A car I spotted isn't in the database.

Our database has 500+ models but we're adding more all the time. Email us the make, model, and year and we'll add it in the next update. Until then, you can pick the closest match.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app → Profile tab → tap the gear icon → Settings → scroll to Danger Zone → Delete Account. You'll need to type "DELETE" to confirm. This permanently removes all your sights, comments, and profile data. It cannot be undone.

How do I report an abusive user or sight?

Every sight, comment, and user profile has a menu button (three dots). Tap it and choose "Report" to flag the content, or "Block User" to hide all their content from your feeds. We review every report within 24 hours.

I was charged for CarEnthu. Is it paid?

CarEnthu is 100% free. We don't charge anything, and there are no in-app purchases. If you see a charge labeled "CarEnthu" on your account, it's not from us — contact Apple Support to dispute it immediately.

Where is my data stored?

Your data (profile, sights, comments) is stored securely on Supabase servers. Photos are encrypted in transit and at rest. License plates in uploaded photos are automatically blurred using Apple's Vision framework. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. CarEnthu is iOS-only for now. An Android version might come in the future, but right now we're focused on making the iOS experience as good as possible.
